Arizona

• Video regarding landlord/tenant law in Arizona.  

California

• EZLegalFile is a free online program to help litigants with unlawful detainer/evictions issues.  This information helps users fill out the required California court forms and is available in 38 of the state's 58 counties. 

• Bilingual information, referrals and links to resources in San Mateo County

• The Administrative Office of the Courts has compiled the materials that it has received from self-help programs in California on landlord-tenant issues. For example, there is a 15 minute English/Spanish video on the nuts and bolts of how to represent yourself in eviction court with the affirmative defense = bad conditions. There is also a script that self-represented tenants can take with them to court and use as a cheat sheet.

• I-CAN!is a program designed by the Legal Aid Society of Orange County to assist self-represented tenants completing their answers in unlawful detainer (eviction) actions.

Delaware

• The Justice of the Peace Court has videos and brochures available on the eviction (summary possession) and civil claim process which litigants can view at the Center for free or purchase from the Justice of the Peace Court for a $2.00 fee. 

New York

• NYC Housing Court

• Contra Costa Superior Court’s Virtual Self-Help Law Center has information regarding evictions, including forms.

Minnesota

• The Housing Court Project in Minneapolis is a joint effort between the Fourth Judicial District Court Housing Court, Legal Aid and Volunteer Lawyers Network. This project offers free walk-in legal advice for low-income tenants.

Utah

• The Online Court Assistance Program through the Administrative Office of the Courts allows landlords to initiate an eviction and tenants to respond to an eviction.
